An early start from Vancouver to Secret Cove. There is good anchorage in the cove and the marina offers fuel and ample moorage. Their store stocks an excellent selection of boating essentials and provisions. Laze on the patio of the Upper Deck Cafe or visit the Jolly Roger Pub.

With careful planning boaters can time the 50km trip up Jervis Inlet to coincide with slack water at Malibu Rapids before entering the deep, calm waters of Princess Louisa Inlet. Anchor off spectacular Chatterbox Falls or tie up at the park’s dock.

The Harbour offers ample anchorage and a small marine park with hikes to Mount Daniel. Provisioning and moorage can be found at Madeira Park, or moorage and a pub in Garden Bay. Alternatively anchor in Gerrans Bay and dinghy in for supper at Painted Boat Resort’s excellent restaurant.

Laze on the white sandy beaches of Buccaneer Bay Marine Park before dropping anchor in protected Smuggler Cove Marine Park. Stern tie and savour a magnificent sunset over Texada Island in the comfort of your cockpit

Tie up at the friendly Union Steamship Marina, promenade on the waterfront boardwalk and delight in the charms of ‘Downtown Bowen Island’ with its choice of local shops, pubs, bistros and restaurants before returning to Vancouver the following day.
