never a great feeling to be lost
we’ll take you to the next level of proper navigation techniques and pilotage within the sight of land
they’re called charts – not maps – and we’ll wander through what all those markings are on them, how to plot tracks, use the accompanying publications building on the skills you learned in level 1
you’ll be plotting fixes, finding out when you’ll get there – and when to leave to make it through the passes at the best times
yup – we know the electronic gadgetry might help, but it could also fail, so learn how to do it without all the extra gizmos and you’ll be so much better off long run
this is a HANDS ON approach and you will need some low tech gizmos to go with the traditional, proper approach covered
