After dealing with the first elements from the CREW module, it is time to get you ready to take charge of the boat in appropriate conditions. We will add some depth to some of the topics introduced earlier and help you with further terminology, ultimately building confidence in skippering the boat in moderate conditions. We are using the same boats as the CREW module.
At the end of this program, you can be tested for national or international certifications and commence a journey as skipper for small boats in moderate conditions. You are also set to skipper in the JIB SET club. The program is also relevant for a boat you own up to around 27′ with tiller steering and outboard motor.

CRUISING NUTS AND BOLTS
This weekend live aboard course offers graduates of the BAY SKIPPER program an opportunity for a spectacular weekend away aboard a 32-36’ yacht. Students will apply their previously learned skills while sailing into Howe Sound and spending the night at anchor.
Note: if you are continuing to LEVEL TWO courses, some people skip the CRUISING NUTS AND BOLTS module and go directly to a LEVEL TWO Cruise & Learn. If your ambitions are smaller boats in moderate conditions without spending extended periods aboard, the CRUISING NUTS AND BOLTS is a great option.
