Cooper Boating is a boating school certifying students for the Canadian Yachting Association (CYA), the International Sail & Power Association (ISPA) and International Yacht Training (IYT).

Intermediate Power Boating- 3 day Vancouver

Vessels 8-12 meters with inboard engines

An ideal course for learning to cruise on large boats, covering safety, boat handling, basic navigation, overnight anchoring, and emergency procedures. Previous boating experience is recommended.

The course starts at 3pm on Thursday afternoon, unless other wise specified. The first night will be spent at our docks doing a boat systems check and getting ready for the three days aboard the boat. The course will finish back in Vancouver on Sunday at approximately 5pm.

Students write two exams at the end of the course in order to complete the certification process. Please read manuals provided prior to boarding the boat.
