Intro to Sailing

Do you find yourself gazing at the sailboats from the shore, longing to be a part of that amazing scenery? If so... why not give it a try? You and up to two friends can experience the sailing scenario first hand.

Let one of our knowledgeable instructors introduce you to boating safety and preparation, how the rigging and sails work, engine start up, and any other aspect of boating you may be interested in.

Then, get a few hours practicing out in English Bay.

A certified sailing instructor will guide you through this process aboard a 22-24' sail boat.

Course time is from 9am - 5pm for 8 hours, or either 9am - 1pm, 1pm - 5pm or 5pm to sunset (seasonally available) for 4 hours, and can be arranged for ANY DAY of the week, all year long. Check in with our office 1/2 hour prior to scheduled sailing time.

Price: $300 + tax for up to 3 people for 4 hours. $575 + tax for up to 3 people for 8 hours.
